Elder Daryl A. King Sr. is the youngest son of Bishop Parrish and Co-Pastor Wilma King in Queens, New York. Nurtured by his natural and spiritual parents he developed and grew in the things of God. Elder Daryl King is a gifted Minister of the Gospel, and Musician. He began playing the piano at the age of 5. He also played the violin at age 7 at “Carnegie Hall”. He attended the “Village Music School” in New York City where he learned to read music at age 12. While attending Andrew Jackson High School he began his music Ministry by helping churches develop choirs and worship teams. He furthered his education by attending Queens College majoring in Accounting and Music.
He pursued biblical training at the Collegiate Bible Institute and received his Bachelors of Religious Education from Central Alabama Bible College. He served as the President of the National Music Department of the Soul Saving Station CCA Int. for 16 years and also the Music Coordinator of the North East District. He is the Senior Pastor and has served in various ministries such as Sunday School Superintendent, Minister of Music, and Assistant Pastor at New Gethsemane Christian Fellowship Ministries, S.S.S. under the leadership of his parents Elder Parrish and Wilma King who are the Founders and Overseers.
He has six wonderful children Daryl Jr., Donte, Steven, Devon, Sierra and Serena and one daughter in-law Shauna. He is a young man who is called, chosen, and charged to preach and teach the unadulterated word of GOD. Daryl’s ultimate desire is to please the Lord and to win the lost. His favorite scripture is Ps.34: 1-2, “I will bless the lord at all times and his praises shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof and be glad.”
